This Privacy Policy applies to the White Space Counter mobile application and related services operated by Hostzero GmbH (the “Service Provider”).
This Privacy Policy is effective as of 8 September 2026.
What information does the Application obtain?
The Application does not collect, log, or store personal information when you download and use it. Registration is not required.
If the Application is used with an active internet connection, technical protocol data such as an ephemeral IP address may be transmitted as part of ordinary network connectivity. Hostzero does not retain this information or use it for tracking.
Precise location information
White Space Counter does not collect precise real-time location information from your device.
Do third parties receive information?
Because the Application does not collect personal information through normal use, Hostzero does not share such information with third parties.
Data Retention
White Space Counter does not require user accounts, does not create server-side user profiles, and does not maintain a server-side household-inventory history.
Any household-item records, category names, icons, item counts, room/location assignments, optional notes, favorites, sorting preferences, recount reminders, deletion-confirmation settings, reduced-motion preferences, or other local settings stored by the Application remain on your device and are not received or retained by Hostzero on its servers.
Data Deletion
Where White Space Counter stores household-item records, categories, counts, locations, notes, favorites, reminder settings, sorting preferences, or similar information locally on your device, you can remove that information using deletion or clear-data controls available in the Application, by clearing the Application’s local storage through your device settings, or by uninstalling the Application, as applicable.
If you voluntarily provided personal information to Hostzero outside normal app use, such as by sending an email, you may request deletion by contacting support@hostzero.online.
Children
The Application is not intended for children under 13 years of age, or such higher minimum age as required by applicable law. Hostzero does not knowingly solicit personal data from children or market the Application to them.
Security
Because White Space Counter does not collect personal data through normal use, the risk of exposure of such data through Hostzero systems is limited. No technical system is completely secure, and reasonable safeguards are applied to systems and any information lawfully held.
Data Breach Notification
If a security incident affects personal information that you voluntarily provided to Hostzero, appropriate steps and notifications will be provided where required by applicable law.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
Hostzero may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by publishing an updated version with a revised effective date.

Your Consent
If you voluntarily provide information to Hostzero and processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before consent was withdrawn.
